September the 18th saw the launch of the first of the Expuls event, which for a un-official opening party went off. Through this event we have been able to land a fortnightly spot on the Saturdays over at the Pool bar in Glenfield. Now, as much as the name Pool bar describes a dark smoky pool hall, it is quite the opposite. Holding up to 200 people, lighting and seating the Pool bar is certainly not a place to cross off. Better yet the Pool bar is in Glenfield making it the ideal place to go if you are not in for a costly night on the town, better yet it has the latest licence on the North Shore. Making it an ideal small event venue. Though the event wouldn’t be complete without Sound, which is a little thing that we have been able to work on. With a little increase in power range, the Pool bar’s sounds system rating have been raised. And all we had to do was increase the 1400Watt system to a 5000Watt system. Bit over powered, but does the bass feel ever so good.
Did you miss the first one, well have no fear. Expuls is hosting another one of our events, Expuls Minor League 9th of October @ Pool bar in Glenfield.. A dance party with three of Aucklands freshest Dj’s, Ikki, Ali Storm and Boson.
